While You Are Here — Life Is a Gift

From The Positivity Depot “What Matters Most” Collection
Some words decorate a wall. Others have the power to change the way we look at our lives.

“While You Are Here” is an original Positivity Depot inspirational piece written as a gentle but powerful reminder of something we all too easily forget: life is happening right now.

We spend so much time waiting for tomorrow—the weekend, the vacation, the better year, the perfect moment—that sometimes we overlook the extraordinary gift hidden inside an ordinary day. This heartfelt piece reminds us to slow down, notice the little things, appreciate the people we love, and recognize that the moments we often take for granted may someday become the memories we treasure most.

From morning light through a window and laughter around the table to familiar voices, quiet conversations and another chance to say “I love you,” While You Are Here encourages us to stop saving happiness for someday and start appreciating the life that is already happening around us.

Everything you'll find in My Words began with something I personally wrote—thoughts gathered over a lifetime, words that came from my heart, and messages that I hope might speak to something in yours.
My hope is that these aren't simply words you hang on a wall.

I hope you'll read them.
I hope your family will read them.
I hope one catches your eye on an ordinary morning and reminds you to appreciate the day you've been given. I hope another makes you think about someone you love. Maybe one encourages you when you're having a difficult day, makes you smile, brings back a memory, or simply reminds you of something important that life sometimes makes us forget.

Its message is simple:

Be here. Be grateful. Love generously. Pay attention. And live while you are here.
The words are beautifully arranged in an elegant two-column design with a combination of classic typography and flowing script, finishing with the simple reminder “Live It.”

A peaceful sunrise over a misty lake and rustic wooden dock completes the artwork, symbolizing another day, another beginning, and another opportunity to truly live.
Each print is presented in our handcrafted-style 11½" × 17" solid wood frame, creating a meaningful piece of wall décor for a living room, bedroom, hallway, office, entryway, or any place where its message can be seen and remembered every day.

Choose from two beautiful finishes: Espresso, a rich warm brown that allows the natural character of the wood to shine through, or Ebony, a deep near-black finish for a bold, timeless appearance. Both are finished using our all-natural, water-based stains and include a sawtooth hanger, so your piece arrives ready to hang and enjoy.

While You Are Here also makes an especially meaningful gift for someone you love—a birthday, retirement, housewarming, anniversary, holiday, or simply an “I saw this and thought of you” kind of gift.

Because someday we may look back and realize that the days we once thought were ordinary were some of the most precious days we were ever given.

Today, you are here.
Make it count.
Live it.
